ITAR: International Traffic in Arms Regulations
A one-day introduction from Unz & Co.
ITAR has serious consequences for violations.
Firearms, explosives, aircraft and parts, can be subject to ITAR. So can protective equipment (pressure suits, military helmets), electronics (including communications or navigation equipment) software, and many chemicals.
If you are manufacturing any ITAR-regulated product, you need to register with the government even if you only sell domestically. Exporters, whether or not they are the manufacturer, must conform with ITAR and obtain export licenses in many cases.
Will you be in compliance with ITAR? You owe it to yourself and to your company to take advantage of this overview.
All attendees with receive a current copy of the ITAR Regulations.
